My Favorite Apps for Moms

One thing I have learned from having a baby is that your cell phone will become your best friend. There are apps that let you track almost every aspect of your baby's life. Without these apps mom life would be a lot harder for me so I want to share my must have apps as a mother with everyone. All of these apps are available for purchase or download on the iTunes App Store, however since I only have Apple products I do not know if it available on Google Play or places like that.
  1. Feed Baby: Feed Baby is free to download and you only have to pay if you want to remove ads and sync back up quicker. Originally I used another app to keep track of my baby's need but a friend turned me on to this app and it is much more user friendly and includes more aspects of baby's life for you to be able to track  Link to Feed Baby
  2. The Wonder Weeks: The Wonder Weeks is free to download, if you want the ebook through the app though you have to pay for that but you can use it without the ebook. This app goes through the different developmental leaps your baby will experience and it tells when they will be, the signs of them, and how you can help your child get those most out of the new skills acquired in each new leap. Link to The Wonder Weeks
  3. What to Expect Pregnancy and Baby: What to Expect is free to download and use. This app tells you what you can expect from your baby each week and offers advice for moms. Link to What To Expect
  4. Pregnancy + : This is free for the first trimester, after that you have to pay $2.99 to get the second and third trimester. Each week this app shows you how your baby should look now, it's size, and what changes it will go through this week. When I was pregnant this is the exact app I used. Link to Pregnancy +
  5. Mom Life: Free to download and use. Mom Life is like a Facebook for moms only. This app allows people who do not have many pregnant or mom friends to have a support system and people to talk to who are going through the same things. Link to Mom Life
  6. My Baby Milestones: This app is $2.99 to unlock all of the sticker packs. This is a fun way to track your baby's developmental milestones. You can edit pictures with text and tons of fun stickers. Link to My Baby Milestones

Honest Review: Fisher Price Sweet Snugapuppy Dreams Cradle 'n Swing

Photo Credit: www.babiesrus.com Fisher Price Sweet Snugapuppy Dreams Cradle 'n Swing I originally bought the Fisher Price swing as a replacement swing for the MamaRoo Infant Seat I had, which I described my experience with in another  post . I love this swing so much and so does my little boy! He is actually in this swing right now. This Fisher Price swing has three different way you can turn the seat (left, right, or facing forward) so baby can swing different ways. The swing also has multiple speeds so you can swing baby faster or slower. There is also a musical feature where you can choose between different sounds and adjust the volume as well. Another good feature this swing has is that it can plug into the wall so you do not have to worry about having batteries handy. The mobile that hangs above the baby moves in circle to attract the baby's attention, and it has a mirrored dome that the mobile is hanging from so that your baby can see his/her reflection.  My...

Honest Review: Pampers Splashers

Photo Credit: www.walmart.com Pampers Splashers When you take your baby to a pool a regular diaper is not doing to hold up very long. Regular diapers have an absorbent gel that will literally swell up if it gets in water. I am sure Huggies has swim diapers if you are a Huggies mom, I just do not know what they are called. If you have read my post about diapers you know I like Pampers best. Naturally the same goes for swim diapers. The Pampers Splashers are what I use for my son to go swimming in. They work really well. For some reason I have noticed that swim diapers are on the expensive side, the twenty-four pack pictured above costs around $9 I believe. My only complaint is that the only size I have ever been able to find in these swim diapers is the size pictured 3-4, so for a while my son's swim diaper is just going to be a tad big.

Honest Review: Bright Starts 3 Ways to Play Walker Ford F-150

Photo Credit: www.walmart.com Bright Starts 3 Ways to Play Walker Ford F-150 My son love this walker. We purchased it a little early just because he loved to stand up so much. At only 24 inches he is still a little to short to move it around but he loves the sound effects it makes!  The steering wheel makes noises when it turns, there is a green button on the dash and when it is pressed it sounds like the engine is being turned on. There is also a stick shift that makes real sounds, and a horn button that makes the sound of a horn when pressed once and the sound of a radio when pressed again.  When the baby gets bigger he or she can start to push the truck around because it has a handle that comes up for them to hold onto and the wheels really turn so the "truck" will move. The dash with the steering wheel, buttons, and shifter is also detachable for floor play. The truck comes in either red or pink as well.  I chose this walker because I thought it was coo...
